Both Pleasant Bay and The Woodlands in Brewster, MA are offering an Enhanced Sign-On Bonus of $8k for full-time CNA’s. This bonus expires on 6/30/2022. The candidate will assist staff members with and contribute to the implementation of total resident care.
Responsibilities
- Performs varied care activities related to nonprofessional services necessary in meeting personal needs, comfort and safety of the residents under direction/supervision of the professional nurse.
- Cares for linen and resident’s clothing.
- Monitors equipment for safety and reports any actual or potential unsafe conditions to charge nurse.
- Cleans bedside unit and personal care equipment daily and stocks as needed.
- Maintains clean/orderly linen room and utility rooms as assigned.
- Assists with admissions and reports all unusual conditions, observations, and
- pertinent information to the professional nurse.
- Assists professional staff in setting realistic goals for each resident as indicated.
- Attends scheduled staff meetings as directed.
- Fosters and maintains effective working relationships between peers, professional staff and other personnel within the facility.
Education
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
- Graduate of CNA training program.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, carry, pull, stoop, reach and grasp.
