AdviniaCare at BayPointe is in search of an Office Manager to oversee HR/Payroll/Benefits/ Accounts Payable/Private and Patient Paid amount collections. The candidate will assume the total responsibility for the Payroll and Accounts Payable Department. They will also be responsible for all staff benefits information including health, dental and workmen compensation cases. In addition the candidate will be responsible for the interpretation and implementation of facility policy and procedure governing employee benefits, payroll and accounts payable issues. Nursing Home experienced preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inputs data from compiled worksheet to computer to generate weekly payroll.
  • Discusses and corrects any errors or concerns regarding payroll on a weekly basis.
  • Maintains payroll records as required by law.
  • Processes any changes that take place in payroll.
  • Expenses all A/P invoices to the appropriate G/L account.
  • Gives accounts payable voucher forms or check requisition forms to Administrator for approval.
  • Data entry of all Administrator approved A/P invoices.
  • Prepares cash distribution of A/P to be approved by Administrator and Controller.
  • Implements any corporate directives regarding new changes in processing accounts payable vouchers, check distribution sheets and vendor forms.
  • Familiar with all aspects of employee benefits including health and insurance benefits.
  • Familiar with and has the ability to explain employee handbook.
  • Responds to any written or verbal request for past or present employment history as requested by supervisor.
  • Initiates employee-desired benefits within presigned benefit packet.
  • Implements any corporate directives regarding new changes in processing payroll, Health and life insurance, 401-K or other programs.
  • Works with the Staff Development Coordinator on orientation of new employees.
  • Familiar with all aspects of computer system with regards to purchase order.
  • Completion of purchase requisitions as approved by Administrator.

Education

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform duties and responsibilities with a minimum supervision.
  • Ability to follow directions from supervisor.
  • Ability to sit, twist, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive movements.
